Western Pennsylvania Deaf Golf Association is hosting their first annual Western Pennsylvania Deaf Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th 2008. The place will be at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania near Route 40.
About 80 miles southeast from the city of Pittsburgh, in the Laurel Highlands region, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is a great place to stay and play and, unlike Oakmont, you don’t need to be a member to play.
The resort has two golf courses. We will be playing at the one called ‘The Links’. The Links is a beautifully-landscaped course with a breathtaking view of the forest and the ponds.
The tournament cost is $150 per person, includes green fees, cart rental, prizes and admission to the reception.
